Forehead Depressed Scar Revision (Post-Trauma)
Scar — Pongsak Clinic, Hua Hin Road 55
The patient presented with a depressed, contracted scar on the lateral forehead, the result of a previous traumatic laceration that had healed with surface depression and visible contour distortion under angled light. The treatment was scar revision under local anaesthesia: excision of the depressed scar tract, undermining of the surrounding tissue to relieve contraction, and layered closure designed to elevate the contour to the level of the surrounding skin. The follow-up photograph shows a fine linear scar in the same location, with the previous depression no longer apparent in raking light and the natural surface plane of the forehead restored. Performed by Dr. Pongsak at Pongsak Clinic, Hua Hin Road 55.
