Perioral Lesion Excision
Scar — Pongsak Clinic, Hua Hin
The patient presented with a raised, dome-shaped lesion at the right philtrum-and-upper-lip junction, approximately one centimetre in diameter, smooth-surfaced and clearly elevated above the surrounding skin. The mass distorted the natural lip contour and was visible at conversational distance. Treatment was complete surgical excision under local anaesthesia, with the incision planned along the relaxed skin tension lines of the perioral region to minimize the resulting scar. After full healing, the lesion is entirely removed, the lip contour is restored, and only a fine, well-aligned linear scar remains. Performed by Dr. Pongsak at Pongsak Clinic, Hua Hin. Final result shown after soft-tissue maturation.
